Spring 2024 Update

Important notice to freshmen and transfer freshmen applicants to the Architecture Program.

Welcome to the 2024 academic year at Kennesaw State University (KSU) Architecture Department.  As an ever-becoming global leader in higher education, KSU is truly a great university in a great place.  We are proud to collaborate with others at an R-2 Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching top-ranked, high-activity research university, wherein our faculty members maintain impactful research and exceptional creative contributions in alignment with current global practice and societal needs.

In conjunction with our University and School Missions, we pride ourselves in our capacities to engage architectural design, community development, emerging technologies, and transformative design leadership at multiple scales regionally and in complex urban settings.  We pride ourselves in our intellectual strengths and skills-based knowledge at multiple levels in preparing our students as emerging professionals for 21st-century global practice.

The only B. ARCH program in the state, our competitive 5-year professional degree program currently houses around 700 registered and amazing students, welcoming ever-growing record numbers of freshmen to our program in recent years.  Students have access to cutting-edge facilities, as well as to several campus services here at KSU that can guide them toward health and safety capacities, residence life amenities, and student success initiatives on our campuses.

Students seeking to enter Kennesaw State’s Architecture Degree Program in the Fall semester of 2024 must meet the requirements for admission on the Kennesaw Admissions page. Please note that there are higher admissions requirements for the Architecture Degree Program, which are listed on the admissions page for incoming freshmen and transfer freshmen, as well as in the KSU catalog of programs.

For a select few, students may apply for admission into the Accelerated Track (AT) of the B. ARCH program after completing 36 credits, maintaining a KSU GPA of 2.5, and completing both Math and Physics (lecture and lab). This track is an acceleration of the first two years of the B. ARCH.

Students choosing this option must enroll for Fall 2024, Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 semesters.
